Do I need another guitar--No but I wanted something to do and have got used to the longer scale length and wider spacing on my Deus so built one to leave in G dobro.
I had the wood (Australian blackwood and rosewood fretboard) and some Grover Rotomatics. Added some Kent Armstrong Stealth P90's and a Wilkinson shorty tele bridge and ashtray cover. A light lacquer finish without grainfill and it's done. Needs some cream knobs when they arrive

Looks great!

I have admiration for anyone who can build their own instrument. I don't have the skill sets for that. I'm basically limited to changing strings. :)

That is very nice work. You can ALWAYS find a reason to get another guitar! Right?

Here is my lockdown project, nowhere near the caliber of instrument that Jeff built but it only took me a few days and I did it with common hand tools, a piece of scrap 2 x 4, and parts laying around the workshop. I used 6 strings from a set of used strings off of my pedal steel. I also used an old Wilkinson "Ash Tray bridge".

My investment is zero, and I think it shows! LMAO!
It sounds great though! Having fun with it! I call it the "Sho~Stud" , Ha!

Needed a break from building the Cigar Box Guitars.
