Tom Morrell was so amazing and inspiring! Does anyone know what string gauges he used for his E13 Tuning? Ricky?

His tuning on his ten string was:
1. G#
2. F#
3. E
4. C#
5. B
6. G#
7. F#
8. E
9. D
10. E

He reportedly used very heavy gauge and at one point Todd Clinesmith said he had the gauges somewhere but I never saw them posted.

FYI: I've just started transcribing some of Tom's solos and he sometimes used a low B instead of the low E and tuned the D down to C#.

Was this tuning on his middle neck of the Bixby?

I think he told me it was the tuning on his little S10 made from mesquite wood that he had the last few years of his life. He read it off to me on a phone call in 1999 and I wrote it down. He may well have also used it on his Bigsby - I'm not sure.
