Thought I'd try this old classic "Stardust". I'm not near as good as most people that play on here, however here goes.

Nothing shabby about that performance, Jim. Well done.

Very nice, and well-played Jim. No matter how long we've been playing the instrument or what music we are tackling, we are all lifelong learners here.

Hi Tony. That was played on a Canopus D-8. The tuning is C6th with the mid E lowered to Eb. Guess you might call it C6th/F9th, someone might put me straight there.
Hi to Lo as follows E-C-A-G-"Eb"-C-A-G

Kia Ora and Aloha Jim, your track sounds sublime. I have been hoping to touch base with you since I spoke to Kris Oka at the Waikiki Steel Guitar Fest last year. Kris said I needed to check out this dude from NZ who had played at one of the Steel Guitar Festivals in Hawaii some years before and was really good. He was right!

Also a shout out to Levi, whose initial post from a few years back I read - hope you have hooked up with some like-minded musos and are doing some gigs.

I'm based just south of Byron Bay, NSW, though I grew up in Christchurch and Auckland. Playing with Aloha Baby and hoping to get to Auckland as soon as I can, where a good friend is caring for a Commodore lap for me...

Cheers,
Paul

Beautiful playing, Jim! Strangely, I've been practicing this tune in C6 myself lately, but it sounds like I've got some work to do to keep up with your version!

Very fine my man. I'll have to check that minor 3rd drop in the tuning. Never considered that.
