Help in Identifying the Steel Player in Dick Bills Band
Hi and thanks for allowing me to post in your forum. My name is Jay Kantor and I am co-owner/admin of www.glencampbellforums.com That site is the only searchable medium on the web for Glen and his legacy. An important part of that legacy is his time in New Mexico. Little by little, we are obtaining accurate information and capturing it.
There are several pictures of Glen with Dick Bills and the Sandia Mountain Boys that we are trying to accurately ID. The Bills family has been extremely helpful in this endeavor, but we are not sure about the steel player in the following photo.
Some have claimed it is Jimmy Chalker ... who may be the brother of Curly Chalker...another said he was Kenneth Morris...who went by KEMO. Dick was in Dallas for a time and knew Curly from the Dallas circuit...so there is a (remote) link there.
Hopefully, someone here can help me out with a positive ID. I certainly would be grateful. I know the Bills family would love to know also. I WAG would be this picture was taken in 56, give or take a year.
Thanks again for allowing me to post this on your forum.

According to this 2012, page 3 post on the Tele Forum, it's Kenneth "Kemo" Morris.
Check out post #52 by "Bolida" identifying Kenneth as his uncle.

Doggone...should have been more interested about the Dick tie.
Thanks Jerry, I had found that post about KEMO on this forum through a search...That is why I thought I might post the question here, as this was the only site that had offered any info on him in that picture. But there have been a couple of folks in ALB that have said it is Chalker.
Sometimes old bait doesn't attract fish.
