I was invited to join a group of musicians to do some remote recording. I knew a couple of them but we had never played together before and I'd never even met 3 of them. The resulting track was a bit outside of my usual field, musically speaking, but that was part of the fun of doing it. I'm really pleased with how it came out...

Fun project there, Jeff!
Small world ... I know Pete Farrugia, the guitar player.
Haven’t seen him in a few years, as he lives in the U.K.

Yes, Pete (and Chad, the singer) were the ony ones I knew already, I never actually played with Pete before though.

My group is going to do the same thing; Our band leader sent out his latest song. We have to listen to it with headphones and record ourselves and send him the vid or the MP3. What else is there !?

I like your lead singer; Lead singers have to look cool, they don't necessarily have to play crap on their instrument if they have one, but they have GOT to look cool. Your guy is very cool indeed.

Hey Jeff,
Please say hello to Pete for me, if you’re talking to him.
I remember he made a great Indian meal, when visiting him in London many years ago.
Multi talented and very nice guy!

Very cool to see the cigar box guitar!

I build the "Two Dog Guitars" cigar box guitars, very cool instruments, they are gaining in popularity lately.

I got Cindy Cashdollar to try them out, not sure how she is doing with them. Hope I get to hear her on one some day!

Thanks - it's a fun instrument. Just having the 3 strings and 2 notes gives you a different approach to playing, I find.

The reason it ended up on the track was because I put up a Facebook video of me playing The Good The Bad & The Ugly on CBG and when we were recording this song, one of the band members who had seen it asked if I would be using it!!!
