Best Ad Blocker? Multiple Ad Blockers?

Post by Dan Kelly »

It seems that Adblock has become less effective for me lately. Which ad blocker are you using? Does it make sense to run multiple ad blockers? I usually use Firefox as a browser.

Any thoughts?

I am using uBlock Origin for Firefox. Interestingly, it now contains a simple checkbox on the user interface to block or allow JavaScript on a per page basis. This eliminates the need for the NoScript add-on.

Hello Wiz!

Thanks... I will take a look at uBlock Origin. I was running NoScript for a while, but it just seemed a little restrictive and I ended up turning it off more than using it. Maybe uBlock will do the double duty. THANKS!

Try Opera browser. It also has a free VPN.

Firefox is just another Google Dragonfly A Scanner Darkly endeavor.

Hey Godfrey! Good suggestion. I am getting used to Opera and liking it. Man, it seems really fast as well. It seems to block most every ad. Good stuff.

Farm out Dan! I like the black screen color theme too. And it does screen shots that are adjustable with its built-in camera. Lots of features. :)
