Which pedals and knee levers would you choose if you could only have 6 total on the E9 neck?

Assuming you have the use op only three knee levers ?
Wow..!, I would really consider fitting an extra knee lever.....you are missing too much, otherwise !

A, B, C pedals, along with Es to F, Bs to A#, and the standard lowering of 2 and 9 (to C#). I'd make the 'open 2nd string' work in place of the Es to D#. I can't play without lowering 9, but I don't see the 6th 'lower' as a vital 'pull'.

I also am addicted to lowering the ninth.

I could get by without lowering the sixth to F#, but I don't want to

Same as Richard S, except I'd lower 2 and 9 instead of lowering 6 to F#. There's a lot of music in that 3x3 setup.

If I added one it would lower 5 and 10 a half step and, after that I would lower 6 to F#.

I use the 6th lower probably 10 times more often than the 2nd lower. But that's just me.
