Watching old Kayton Roberts cuts. Didn't realize he played with my childhood fiddling hero Chubby Wise behind Hank Snow... Question-when he's playing Valley of the Roses it looks for all the world that he has steel in both left and right hands while doing that one beautiful beautiful lick...What in the world is he doing? Looks like his right and left are following each other...

Looks to me that he is just picking right up next to his bar, and the other movement is just using a volume knob for effect. I could be wrong though.
