That Gibson lap steel has the best tone! I know its in the hands etc. but that piece of wood and wires has some magic. by the way, great job on the song Doug.

Mister B. has the chops to make a diddley bow sound like a Stradivarius.

Old Gibson Century and Ultratone lap steels are criminally underrated in my opinion. And they're often a steal (pun intended) in today's market. The far more common Skylark models are usually priced much, much higher, which is akin to pricing a Vega higher than a 'Vette, or a Pinto higher than a T-Bird.

I love my black Century, pictured below. I paid well south of three Ben Franklins, and received a bunch of extra stuff I didn't need.
