Nice playing! A little bit of Chalker and a little "Big Jim" Murphy too. 8)

I'm familiar with Audie from the tv shows. Excellent player and really captured the Chalker style on this tune. Wish there was more of his videos available.

Would he by chance be related some way to Danny Shields (supposedly the "S" in MSA?)

He still surfaces every now and then for a gig around Nashville. Sweet guy and he still plays as great as ever.

Paul,

I have heard Audie a few times, several times at the NTSGA Jams, and a few times when he played with Diane Berry's band in Nashville. He is on a couple of Dianes CDs if you can get them. He played on Apt. #9 on one of her albums, his playing was beautiful! Dianes vocals are an added bonus! Fabulous singer!

He is an awesome player! Very down to earth friendly guy. His playing is very tasteful, and extremely clean! One of the best in my opinion!

When I saw him last he gave me this CD, excellent PSG music, get one if you can!

Wow! I just noticed that! Looks like it was a family affair! Ha!

Also some top notch guitar slingers on that CD, Leon Rhodes, Diane Berry, and Ben Hall. Fabulous pickers all!
