I recently picked up this Sho-Bud from an estate, wanting to keep a couple of six strings and an amp that was in the "pile", and made an offer on the entire lot and took them home. I am not a steel player and still struggling to learn six strings after 52 years of practice. Sending some pics to a gentleman who belongs to this site and several emails later, he believes it is a late 70's guitar. One of the problems identifying this guitar is there are no serial numbers on it. I know where the serial number should be, but that area is blank as you can see in the pics - I figure the person responsible to stamp those numbers had a date that night and slipped off early or I have a Johnny Cash Special.
As you can see, it has 4 knee and 3 floor pedals. It will be for sale shortly, but first I want to know what I have and ballpark of what it's worth so I can better offer it up. Thanks in advance for any help. I am in southern Illinois.

No pot metal in that one.

without seeing the changer end up closer....I'm guessing double raise/single lower...and you hook the string in a groove; NOT hook on a pin. but the hook in a groove finger top IS indeed Pot metal; but no other pot metal on this one.
wide pedals; no texture underneath; two hole pullers, curved knees...flat fretboard..... 1975.
These sell in the 1500-2000 area....
