Back at it after 5 years

can't believe its been 5 years since i had to sell my steel,,1st wife was not well,and passed away,,and was taking care of 2 older grand kids,,anyway,been working a lot,doing floor work,,36 years of crawling, ,played for 10 years or so,got remarried,bought that little magnum sd10 from Demier,,thanks i'm having a ball with it,,,he hooked me up with my old friend Danny Mohammad,,,he gave me a seat,,amazing player,been knowing Danny for 15 years or so,met him through a writer friend,,he's done some demos for me,,,i'll miss going to bobby seymore's and talking to him,,,had way too meany instruments going at the same time before,,,,sticking to only steel for awhile,,,glad to be back ,,have learned so much on the forum thanks willie.

Welcome Back Willie like you I had to take an extended break from the Steel Guitar not as bad as your situation but life can give some big bumps and potholes. Been back about 6 years now and LOVING it.

I had stopped playing for 15 years. Wished I didn't, but started back up about five years ago. I had no excuses.
