Is there any reason why the root D string raise and lower is on the left knee rather than the right?

It's that way because I use the same levers on E9th tuning and on C6th I lower my C on LKL.

Thanks Johnny, I am new to pedal steel and I want to learn on an E13 version of your copendent from the beginning. As a novice, it seems the logical place for the e9 to c6 lever would be on the LKR so it would be engaged when my foot moves over to play the c6th pedals.

It's important to keep the RKR where it is on my chart. The tuning revolves around it and where it is placed. Most players today have the E raises and lowers on the left leg.
