Recorded in Los Angeles in 1947, and released on the Apollo label (New York) in Oct. 1947. From all I can find, Harry's group (the "Jumping Jacks") never had a steel player, so someone likely got called in for any steel work...but I'm not hearing steel on that record?

Part of it reminded me of Speedy’s humor, but not sure who it was, but I loved it! _________________ Been playing all of my life, Lead Guitar, and Pedal Steel, sing Lead and Harmony.. play other Instruments also but I hate to admit to it.. |

Donny, thanks for showing that 78. I think Harry Reser recorded this tune a few times with different line-ups. This might be the only one with steel.
Ron, Malcolm thought it may have been Speedy and he thought that Speedy was in L.A. by then. However, I'm not convinced. Noel Boggs and Joaquin were also prominent, but I doubt it's them. Alvino Rey, Sol Hoopii, Dick McIntire, Danny Stewart, Freddy Tavares???
