String Wear: National vs. Dunlop type picks

This may seem insignificant, but I have started using National old style picks exclusively as they work much better on the Banjo and Dobro.
I wonder if anyone has noticed increased string wear with these on PSG due to the hardness.
I know this can be subjective due to attack.

I used Dunlop .025's for many years. I now use the National NP2's (reissue of the original National's) and I haven't noticed any difference in string wear. But, then I change strings so I probably would never see any wear. If I'm on the road it's no more than two weeks, otherwise I change strings about once a month.

I use National originals(pre war), along with Dunlops and Zookies and I don't see any difference in wear(or tone). Just feel!!!

Lefty I use Jeff Newman picks, now what cut down on my string wear is experience, the more experience I got the less I would break strings, sure I still bust 'em but not to the extent as when I was trying to figure stuff out. I also feel string wear and how aggresive you attack the strings go hand in hand, no matter what pick you have.
