Affrimative, a pedal pulls both E strings up to F#.

2nd string E or III of C6
Wouldn't that be the bV
E to Gb

A half tone would give you the IV chord root
F
The 6 pedal does that.
But another 1/2 sounds like an Augmented chord to my ears.
Yet it would logically be the #IV dimished...
Like hitting 5+6 up a few frets.

Either that or I am still asleep.

Wayne-INMO , dropping the 2nd string E down a whole tone to D, makes a lot of musical sense. Some of the top c6 players do that. It goes a lot with pedal 5, works best if you have the G on the 1st string instead of the D, your choice there....al
