Tapestry Audio Bloomery Volume Pedal: ???

Post by ajm »

I saw this on another forum/web site.
Anybody have any experience with these?
The price is right, for sure.

Nice design. I'm seeing some potential downsides of using it with steel though...
-250k pot
-jacks at the front of the pedal
-pivot point looks like it would cause your knee to go up and down

I own one and use it on my electric guitar pedalboard.
I don't think it would work for my pedal steel guitar setup.
Guitars: Rittenberry SD S-10, Gretsch Black Falcon. Effects: Wampler Paisley, Strymon Timeline, Sarno Earth Drive.
Fractal FM9
Amps: Mesa Express 5:25, Jazzkat Tomkat & Boss Katana head / various cabs.

The jacks could be moved, but it says it uses a sliding potentiometer. That really limits the replacements that are available...if it ever fails. I do like the all-linkage operation, though (my first pedal was built like that).
