Has anyone ever tried the GL E66 in a Franklin guitar.
Thanks
Andy

I had a used one I tried and didn't like it. Seemed to lose too many highs and bassy compared to my Lawrence 710's.

Maybe it was just the used one I tried??

I get too many comments on how good my sound is with the Franklin and the 710's. I only tried the E66 and found out it wasn't for me.

I got two E66 on my Franklin.
I must say I like the clear and precise sound on the E9, but I'm not particulary staisfied by the sound obtained on the C6. Lacks too much high and low frequencies for my taste.
I look forward to change for a more bright and bassy PU for this neck.
