Hey all
Im currently playing a zum encore thru a quilter steelaire amp....i love the guitar but was wondering what steel guitar would be an upgrade? I also have a GFI student model that I cut my teeth on....Price is not the biggest factor in my decision, I would just like to see what other models and makes would be an upgrade from the encore
Thanks as always |

Craig, glad you're still playing.
Your Encore pretty much has it all, unless you get an itch to play C6. I'd stick with it. _________________ E9 INSTRUCTION

If money is not an issue, there are some excellent steels you can get. I'm partial to MSA, but there are so many others, Mullen, Jackson, Sho-pro, Justice, Fessebden, Williams, GFI, Infinity, Sierra, etc. You really can't go wrong with any of them. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.

I agree with John McClung, the Encore plays and sounds as good as any single neck out there. If you want to consider going to a D10 or a Universal, then that's a different story. I have an Encore and if I don't need to play any C6 on the gig, the Encore is the one I take out.
