I have my 6th string lower and 1st string raise on my LKR. It is a little stiff,so I believe I need to put the pull rod in a hole closer to the body correct? Then which string do I need to retune 1st with the nylon tuners 1st or 6th.do you adjust the raise or the lower 1st or does it matter.i do this so infrequently ineverremember how it goes,my memory is a product of "the golden years" boy I was lied to about that!!!

That’s what I do lee. 6th lower is fairly close in to the cross shaft. String 1 raise since mine is a whole tone raise is up a little higher on its bell crank. Mine works out like a half stop. The 1st string is at a 1/2 tone raise just as the string 6 starts to pull for the lower.

Doing that way, I tune the 1/2 step 1st on string one then the lower on 6 and the full raise on 1 hit there notes at exactly the point where the lever hits its full travel against the stop.

Mines on lkv only difference

Hope this make sense.
