Don’t Come Home Drinkin’ Tab?

Post by Jamie Kitlarchuk »

Anyone have a tab for Loretta Lynn’s ‘Don’t Come Home Drinking’? Intro, break, and some of the fills would be much appreciated.

Thanks Ricky. Anyone else have the solo or some of the fills? I'm sure I can work most of it out, but am in a bit of a time crunch.

Im currently working on this song, too. If you use pedal C instead of A for that first line in Ricky's tab, it's much easy to get into the BC stuff in the second line (at least for a noob like me!)

That only works if you play the simplified rolls that are in Ricky's TABs (which I do). According to Brint in the thread below, there's a bit more nuance to it and it involves the A+F lever.

I highly recommend this Hal Rugg course to you https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pedal-Steel-Gu ... 0669618367. It also contains an accurate tab for the intro in 'Don't Come Home A'Drinkin'. If the link above doesn't work, go to ebay.com and search for 'Pedal Steel Guitar Course Loretta Lynn Medley Tab/CD'.

That link doesn't work. You have to remove the period that is part of it.
