New Mullen Discovery here with no hum issues until today....I noticed hum when i strike a string gets louder then fades to no hum after sound goes away. Any ideas? Have eliminated the cords and turned off all lights to eliminate that as source as well. Thanks Terry

Divide and conquer... different amp, different house, different guitar(!)... localize the problem first. Might be an amp (or speaker!) issue... try different speaker if the amp shows bad. Try different channel in the amp... etc etc.

As it turns out .....elminated amp, cords, etc etc...and tried my noise gate on the front of my Kemper and Vola....hum gone quiet as a church mouse and no tone degradation. Worked like a champ....thanks for the tips.
