Not sure if this is from the guy who played with APE later on, but apparently their one album came out in 2001. I like the vibe a lot, very simple and stripped down. Found them on Youtube. Anyone know anything about them?

This was a duo act consisting of Frank Novicki and
Ben Bonham. Ben has become a very good
resophonic luthier.
Frank, however, seems to have disappeared. I found a
Caring Bridge journal from 2016 that indicates that he had some medical issues and was hospitalized. No news since then and his Facebook page remains inactive.

Ben lives in Hood River, Oregon and as Brad mentions, makes excellent resonator guitars. He just completed a west coast tour as part of Albanie Falletta’s band. She plays one of his resonator guitars ( it was recently featured in Acoustic Guitar magazine.)
On the tour, Ben played a ukulele, resonator guitar and lap steel resonator guitar... all from his workshop. I suspect he has copies of Steel Works available as well as a recent CD of excellent music with Albanie Falletta ( resonator guitar and ukulele), Cindy McDermott ( mandolin) and Ronnie Ontiveros ( upright bass.) His two recordings with Jamie Stillway are also outstanding.
