Don't know if any one would even consider doing this. I am looking for some settings with this config that may sound a little more "swampy". I may even be asking for something closer to a lap steel. I play a lot of open mics where I play along a lot of other players and sometimes I feel there needs to be something other than beautiful steel sound. I have played around some with the Lexicon effects. When I want to be different, I turn on my Ventilator "Leslie" and sound like an organ. If want some overdrive, I use a Boss GT-100 in a series config. I also use the Boss GT-100 in it's own chain using a switch device. I don't know if my chains are set up correctly, I usually use this setup either Carter S10 or ETS S10, (Telonics FP100), Crybaby WAH, Ventilator , Boss GT100 into the Telonics input.

Thanks for any input.

The TCA-500 has a pretty good "Dobro" effect built into it you might want to play around with too ... you get some fairly "swampy" sounding stuff using that if you approach it with the right technique :-}

Thanks guys ... It's actually a Boss GT-1 (multi-effects) that I use. I am going to have to try the TBro with other types of bars and wit some effects thrown in. I have used it in
'TBRO" mode no reverb, no MX200 (bypassed) and only using Tbro bar.

Thanks again for making me rethink things

Samples from recent open mics. This one is an original song by the singer that I had never heard before. https://youtu.be/nQqQLTWvNhY

This is a dif interprtation of Neil Young's Down By The River. Played to a backing track. https://youtu.be/Il3rM0ff3l4
