Can you compare to books/courses from Emmons, Newman, Wallace etc?

Hi Russ - I'm sure that not much has changed since '72. What would be interesting to know is how many knee levers were considered standard then.
My old 60s D10 had none. Buddy Emmons in his C6 course specified one and suggested two, although I don't know exactly when that was written. More modern material (Jim Loessberg, Herb Steiner) has the standard four.

From what I have read so far it talks about 5 pedals and 1 knee. The c6 sound is so pretty to my ears . I haven't seen any other books on c6 im sure there is but I haven't seen any , anyways I hope to learn something from the book.Come to think of it my super pro only has one knee that works on c6 and 5 peds. it raises string 4 1/2 step. Heck I like the c6 sound so much I could do without e9 period .I think id like a guitar with just c6 maybe a 12 string ha now what would I do with that lol

Neil's book has very indepth study of what 9 pedals do,,independently and any combination. Has no mention of knee lever that I see. (Maybe 9th pedal could be viewed as KL, I have not studied it that much) It is in two sections,,,the second section being basically what Trap Truly's C6 ( and my converted E9/B6) chord chart does,,,in a little more complex format (maybe not so complex, depending on how you look at it). It was a breakthrough, in depth study of Nashville pedal C6 in it's beginnings,,,more info there than I could ever absorb.

Herb Steiner put out a great and free PDF for chords on the C6.

I have courses out that I sell and highly recommend Herb's resource in conjunction.

DOWNLOAD HERE

Also, another great free resource is the plug and play chord finder. It's for the lazy player that doesn't want to figure things out themselves 😂 but still a learning tool.
