My Dad (Greig Ryan) played steel with "Dave Burgess and the Desert Aires" in Lancaster, CA in early 50's. They had a radio program on KAVL in 1952.

He's gone now, but just wondering if anyone on here ever heard him play or have any info about the band. I've only found 1 article from 1952 online & they were apparently pretty fair.

Dad was only 18 at the time & joined Navy that same year. I don't think he played after that. Nobody in the family has any photos or information about them whatsoever, so I'm just trying to find out something about his playing days...
