gary, lew was from ozark alabama. back in the days when he would come home to visit his mom he would always call me and would come wherever i was working and sit in. those were the days....thanks jack

Thanks Jack. You’ were rubbing shoulders with greatness. How did Lew get started playing steel and then join Conways Band. I read where Lew didn’t like to fly and he was required to do that as Conway’s career blossomed. So he left the Band.Lew was quite an artist.
