Floppy Knee Lever

I am a new student (fortunately I found Jim Cohen for my teacher). I have a 1974 MSA Classic. One knee lever moves about 45 degrees instead of about 20 degrees like the other three. Tightening the bolt doesn't help...just makes it stiff... and the cam doesn't look worn...any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Are the strings changing pitch through that whole 45 degrees, or does only the last few degrees of movement cause a pitch change? Could be you have to move either the rod from the knee-lever to the crossrod puller, or move the pull-rods (where they go through the puller) farther from the cross-rod.

It's a simple leverage problem, and should take under 5 minutes to fix!
