Can some of you pro's explain why Emmons guitars quit using the deviders on the cut tail, as was used on the early Legrands. It appears that this type would be very supportive of the axle. I can't tell by looking if the axle goes through the deviders, or if they just cover it. JW Day

I'm not a pro. But the story I got was the supports did nothing to eliminate cabinet drop. So they were dropped due to the extra expense.Yes they do support the axle......
