It has been 16 years since i worked on a E9 Emmons, and i would like to know the right order that is used in setting up a Emmons P/P from beginning to end. Any pamplet on directions around? The techs i know in Minnesota, seem to be very busy.
I need a local tech now if possible.
Or Directions from a knowlegeable source. Can you email it? Thanks |

Sonny,
Here is a link to John Lacey's web site. Lots of good tips there.

Also check the Carter site as well. I've been playing and working on Emmons push-pulls for over 20 years. They are the greatest once you understand them, but you really do need lots of patience...

Clem Schmitz wrote a great book on how to set up a push pull that he sells.
contact him at:

I rebuilt an S10 using nothing but his book for instruction and it covered all the basses.

Sonny,
I was able to purchase that book on eBay a few weeks ago. Maybe you still can find it there. It was very resonable and quite informative, too.
