Week one was a great class, William had his Emmons polished up and it sounded as good as it looked. This week we did the fantastic intro to "When the tingle becomes a chill". This is a great song I hope we get back to for the rest in a later set of classes. We then moved on to the intro to "Pick me up on your way down" which I find to be the hardest part of the song. I am still practicing it at half speed. Oh and the technique exercises were exceptional, 3 of them can be put together for a great run. Come on and join the fun!

Not easy but it is pushing me to learn this one! I would never have been able to play this when I first started but I have grown as a player since I've been with William. Best instruction money I've ever spent!

Week two started out with a little bit of "Steel Rails" a tune I hope we come back to in more depth later. The 1 6m 2m 5, intro was very cool and I have already found places to use the low string exercise in F and the first one in C. Each lesson is packed full of little runs you can use all over the place.

This tune has lots of licks that can be used in other tunes.....I teach to always be thinking about other tunes where the licks learned can be used.

That process will speed up your learning and makes the most of your practice time....

Happy 4th of July! Week three was even more loaded with great licks as we had the tab to the ad lib part of William's track. That 1 4 5/7 progression is a gem and you can use it or something like that in almost any shuffle. Join us this week for more great licks and insight!
