I recently traded an S-10 GFI for a D-10 GFI. The case builders want too much $$$ for split cases (that won't be used very often) and I'm no longer able to build my own like I have in the past.
I'm considering using a keyboard case but not sure which ones to consider.
Suggestions? |

Jack, gator makes a wheeled padded keyboard bag for about $150. If you want a carry bag, the kaces 49 key bag works well too. If you do a forum search for gig bag, there should be a thread from 2016 where a fella used one to carry his emmons D-10. It’s by John Swain titled legrande gig bag deconstructed. Hope this helps

Jack, you might revisiting " Gig Bag Deconstructed " onbttte Forum.. I'm using a Kaces 49 key bag $40 with a lightweight " tray" to protect the top and front of my Legrande D10. I replaced it after 5 years because the zipper got wonky (still useable, double zipper) so I splurged and bought another! |

Jack..A second vote for the Gator semi-rigid rolling key board case (49 key as mentioned). After loading the steel, there is sufficient space left at the top to carry your volume pedal (I used a section of 3/4" pine board covered in padded cloth as a sort of partition to protect the end plate). The cord, picks, bar, tuner, spare strings, etc. all fit in the compartments on the bag eliminating my need to carry a pac-seat, substituted a folding keyboard bench in its place. |

Doing some searching I came across the Gator bag which looks like what I want but I'll check out the Kaces.
Thanks |

I settled on the Gator case and ordered one from Sweetwater.
Now I have to find something that will hold the pedal bar, legs and pedal rods. |

I'm pretty sure a D-10 would fit, without the legs and pedal rack. |

I ordered the Gator GK-49 from Sweetwater. They had a demo model at a reduced price. My sales rep checked it out and said it was "mint".
Just have to find something for the legs, pedal bar and pedal rods. Looking at rifle cases so far but haven't found one that would work. |

For pedal bar and legs I use a Bull Dog 35" Tactical shotgun case available from Cabelas |

Thanks for the suggestion.
I looked at it and then found a Merdia hard shell gun case. I ordered it from Amazon and easy return if it doesn't work out
