The master teacher and picker of the steel guitar. Jeff is the one that got the teaching method started in the early 70's and made a career out of teaching pedal steel guitar.

Pedal Steel - Jeff Newman
Guitar - Bobby Caldwell
Rhythm Guitar - Niels Tuxen
Bass - Billy Linneman (Nashville Now)
Piano - Roy Rosetta
Drums - John Stacey

That was fantastic. I really loved the first song. Not sure what it was but sounds like "Lifes Railway To Heaven".

Yes, that's right Paul. It's an arrangement he used in his Universal course and in concert as well. I love it.

This video is bittersweet for me. Besides being my mentor and instructor for many years, Jeff is one of my favorite players...his on stage antics were sometimes hilarious too. Bobby Caldwell always seemed to have such a great time playing these shows too and Speedy was a special individual. I miss getting to see all these guys. Thanks a bunch fellows for all the joy you brought us and may you all rest in peace.

Thanks again Bill, for putting up these rare gems.

....and wouldn't it be great to have one of this quality show again? Exclamation
