The master teacher and picker of the steel guitar. Jeff is the one that got the teaching method started in the early 70's and made a career out of teaching pedal steel guitar.

Yes, that's right Paul. It's an arrangement he used in his Universal course and in concert as well. I love it.
This video is bittersweet for me. Besides being my mentor and instructor for many years, Jeff is one of my favorite players...his on stage antics were sometimes hilarious too. Bobby Caldwell always seemed to have such a great time playing these shows too and Speedy was a special individual. I miss getting to see all these guys. Thanks a bunch fellows for all the joy you brought us and may you all rest in peace.
