Nice!

I like the photography angle you used. We don't see that very often.

I never noticed how much you lift the tail of the bar when you're doing some up & down moves on the neck.

I'm pretty sure it's subconscious on your part. But, I think it gives some natural left hand damping on the unwanted strings during the transition.

And, when you return the bar to the strings, the strings go from dead off to on without any sliding kind of sound.

As always, I like the hammer-on/pull-offs in the bridge section.

I'm not really conscious of the bar movement I'm doing, I guess it just happens. Lap steel bars are so light and small it's easy to manipulate them. I played pedal steel for a long time before playing lap steel and I remember Jeff Newman telling us that the only time you should raise your bar off the strings is when the band takes a break!

Thanks for watching the videos, guys! Lately I've been on Instagram a lot. Users can post one minute videos. So it's quick and easy, unlike my YouTube videos which take a lot of planning, and more work on the backing track, making sure the lighting is right, etc. These short IG videos can be done in one sitting, although the sound quality is not great.

I think the sound quality was just fine. I mostly enjoy watching and listening to your technique and arranging ability.

Plus 1 on what Ed said. You’re a steel guitar treasure, Doug.

Doug,

Didn't see Ukulele Lady in any of your books. Is this arrangement available?

Dennis, No, I don't have tab for this one. I just recently learned it. It's in C6 tuning (high E). Key of C, the melody starts on fret 7.
