I noticed that GHS has changed their pedal steel string gauge for the high F#. It used to be 013 and it was replaced by a 012. Every other string is the same.

What do you guys refer, 13 or 12? I wonder why they changed it.

Possibly because many now raise the first to G#. I would think a .013 would still work though. I have always used a .012.

Alex, I noticed that, too. I prefer the .012.

Interesting thing. I just received a set of strings from Live Steel Strings, and it has a .013 for the first string.
