Rickenbacker Lap Steel Electro Fry Pan Guitar

Post by Larry Simms »

Hi there,
My brother Drew left me with a Rickenbacker Electro Fry Pan guitar in excellent condition. I am not sure what it’s worth. Can anyone give me an idea of its value? Thanks Larry

Hello Larry,

I'm no expert, but this is a beauty. It's certainly worth way north of $20.

Seriously, search Rickenbacher Single Knob Fry Pan and you'll see prices
in the thousands.

I bet it sounds beautiful. Might be a keeper! :D

What a beauty. This actual guitar sold in 2013 for $2,000.

This is a 1950s model and while it is super sweet, it doesn’t command the same kind of price as an original early Fry Pan. Does the back of the body have a bakelite cover?

Hello; Is this fry pan lap still available and what are you wanting for it?
