Open g tuneing with a capo

I have over thought this and have confused myself. Trying to get to a key of E for some Pink Floyd. Thanks for any advice and help

For E, I’ll often capo up 2 and pretend I’m playing in D. It lets me use a lot of open string combinations without confusing myself more than usual.

Change your tuning to open E.
