This amp plays but needs work has been stored inside house long time. $1750.00 I don’t know about the shipping for it is heavy? All original 68 amp not a remake

Me too. Its a 68 silverface of player grade after repairs. IMO, thats $1500 max. Just had one sell locally that was a good player grade silverface for $1k.
At 575 theres room for shipping and repairs. At 975 there's not.
If you do end up having to ship, stop by a guitar center or similar and try to find a shipping box for a new DR reissue. They sell a lot of those so likely have a good box.
