I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

I've just been thinking about a 10 and cooled down knowing that I have enough steel guitars ...and then this popped up.

Mike, no one can ever have too many lap steels. The man who bought this 10 string already has 4 other Melbert lap steels.

Dom, the scale length on this one is 23.25" to match his other lap steels but since it is custom, this model can be made to any scale length. --Bob--

Very nice Robert......a great add to your stable.

What kind of wood did you use? Pickup?

Are you open to customization re wood and pickups?

Stephen, I used poplar because this customer wanted something lightweight. Normally I would have used maple but I can use walnut, mahogany, quilted maple, or more exotic woods. It all depends on how much the customer wants to pay. The pickup on this one was a George L's E-66. I can use any of the George L's pickups at the same price. Fitting a different brand pickup would involve custom work and could easily cost more for the pickup. Anyone interested can send an email to me at melbertguitars@gmail.com Bob

Just the shape of the body, the Master is longer and narrower. https://www.melbertguitars.com/
