Topic: Particular bullet bar advice |

| I'm looking for a bullet style bar with more sustain than a broom handle, but far from that of a traditional bar- not looking for BJS smoothness or weight-I'd be happy with any glass bottle-neck slide if it had the bullet end- that's the ideal. Any tips? |

Asa--the Diamond crystal glass bar might fit the bill.
I have one that is a bit less than half the weight of the same size BJS.
Side by side, I find it has lower sustain, thinner, less bright, bold sound. These are all things I was looking for (not in general, but in a specialized bar for stuff like blues slide guitar sounds on steel.)

| I'll add that if more severe sustain killing is the objective (closer to broom handle), then ceramic will be another option. Let me know and I'll dig through my link library. |

+1 on Paloma Stone... sometimes hard to find, he goes for periods without making them. If you catch him, buy three or four... they break when you drop 'em! I hope to see him in Dallas in March.
