New Fender lap steels

I've been ought of the loop on lap steels, but is fender making new lap steels? I went to their site, couldn't find anything, but found this on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fender-DELUXE- ... 3468240109

Are they still making them, how do they compare to the old ones,and can you get parts?
Some where between major and minor

Pre, wartime and post-war time Rickenbacher B6's, 48' National Dynamic and a Scheerhorn.

Fender Japan, which is what this one is, has continued to make some in recent years and they pop up on ebay. Usually overly expensive and shipped internationally. Vintage is typically a better value.
