not having ever used one,what is the difference between the goodrich 6a,and the 7a?

The Goodrich Matchbox 6A does not have an on/off switch. You have to pull out the outlet jack to turn the unit off and save on the battery. The 7A has the little switch on top. I use a 6A and put the switch on myself.
