Bob Simmons is the MAN!!!

Post by Tyler Hall »

This man has magic in his hands! My Fessy started acting up the other day, so I sent it to Bob. When I got that baby back, it was a whole new guitar! It plays better now than when I got it NEW!!! Image

This man can work miracles on a steel guitar. I could not be any happier with this guitar. He works so fast it'll scare you. I took my steel Friday evening, and had it back by lunch Saturday. I just can't say enough good things about him.

Bob is the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet. If any of you need any repair work done, contact Bob. His prices are extremely reasonable. He also builds some great steels. I promise, if you need any repair, Bob won't disappoint.

Contact him at 1-205-647-6400 or look him up at simmonspedalsteel.com

I spoke with Bob on the phone regarding building me a student model. He was very helpful, and obviously quite knowledgeable. Very friendly; I would enjoy meeting him and seeing his shop.

Bob is a pretty good picker to Boot. Heard him on the Always Patsy Cline tour. They let him cut up a little on the ending songs.

Bob is a good picker. He set down at my steel and burned it up.

Greg Quick from Cullman e-mailed me and said he had some work down and was very pleased with Bob.

I tell you guys, if anybody ever knew anything about a steel it'd be Bob. I get confused when he starts to explain, but he made it clear for me not to tinker with my guitar anymore. Any of you guys that need any steel repairs done should give him a try. It saved me a trip to Nashville, and I met a very nice fella in the process. Contact him at 1-205-647-6400 or look him up at simmonspedalsteel.com

BOB SIMMONS! What a great friend, player and equally great steel repairman. A few weeks ago, Bob took my '76 Sho Bud LDG and made it play soooo great. He has vast experience in guitar building and repair.

I highly recommend Bob Simmons for your steel repair needs PLUS if you are looking for a real nice steel at an affordable price check out his Simmons Steel Guitars.

Call Bob Simmons @ 205.647.6400.

I agree with what Bill says, but Bob did so good on the Sho-Bud, Bill won't let me play it! Image

Bump for Bob.

These are very complimentary words for Bob Simmons. I too have had a rewarding re-build experience with Bob, last year he rebuilt my 73 Sho-Bud Pro-1...the machining and finishing turned out beautifully....beyond my expectations. Thanks again Bob! All the best....
