Rhode Island Steel Guitar Association Quarterly Meeting!

Post by Peter Hart »

The Rhode Island Steel Guitar Association will be having their next quarterly meeting on November 25, 2018 at the Tiverton VFW post #5392.
This is located at 134 Shove Street in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
The meeting starts at 12:00 noon and will end around 5PM.
Bring food (pot luck), bring a song, and bring a smile.
I'm looking forward to hearing about the show (that I sadly missed).
See you then!

The Norwalk Show on the 18th and the RISGA meeting on the 25th is too much excitement for this old man. Steel guitars are a wonderful obsession.

Just a reminder that the jam and meeting are Sunday!

Bring an idea for a tune to play and a pot luck dish (anybody bringing turkey?)

See you there!

We had a great meeting yesterday! I was good seeing everyone again after my extended absence.
I'm looking forward to our next get together on February 24th (tentative ). I will do my best to be more prepared. I'm also hoping Roger can help me out with a chart or two for songs I would like to play at our next show.
I found this bit of advice very helpful:
"Learn to fine pleasure in the journey, not just the destination."
