I had a sd10’ built by Roy Thomas in Louisiana.
A great very well built guitar. Wish I had it back.

As good as the best, and better than the rest! For full disclosure, I installed a Telonics pickup in the Pedalmaster that I had.

Pedalmaster guitars are great guitars! Roy Thomas was one of the rop builders in the country! I played one many years.

I owned a very nice lefty SD-10 built by Roy Thomas. I was the second or third owner of it. The hardware was rock solid (mine had stainless steel parts), and the guitar played quite well. I think I just got board with the teal mica and sold it a while back. If you can get a good deal on one, I would say go for it.

I played an SD-12 The General Pedalmaster for a few weeks, belonged to a student and I considered buying it. For technical reasons it wasn't right for me, but it had a 25inch scale, 13th changer finger for half stops, sustain for hours, and hardly any taper from roller nut to changer bridge, which I wound up liking very much. Still kinda wish I had it. It was fabulous! Was built like a tank. I think you'll like a Pedalmaster.

I've owned two Pedalmasters and both were great guitars, although if given a choice I prefer the later models with GFI undercarriage due to the availability of parts, more precise adjustability, and greater ease of making changes.
Not to say the earlier models are not great guitars either!

I have an SD10 and a D10 Pedalmaster. Both lefty. Beautifully made. Both built like a tank, well two tanks.
Both of mine have GFI parts so easy to change, modify etc. Both play in tune and sound really nice too.

I have a Pedalmaster D10 (also a lefty). It’s been a great guitar for me and if I saw another one I would be pretty tempted to pick it up.
