The steel parts are tasty, nice tone and intonation. I would have mixed it a bit higher, but hey that's a steel player talking.

The recording quality is excellent for a practice, sounds like everything was individually mic'd and mixed down later I guess.

If you plan on playing St. Louis, email me maybe we can do double bills and share St. Louis and Atlanta contacts.

Scott,
I am highly impressed with the Linemen! You my man, are the kind of steel player I'd like to become.

It's funny but if you go to our myspace we list the same influences and sounds like. I noticed you guys listed Whiskeytown. Our bass player played bass for whiskeytown.

We actually practice in a recording studio which is nice. You were right about the recording, except for the mixdown part. We just burned it.

I would love to open for you guys sometime. We need a lot of work but I hope we will be playing out in a month or so.

I really like the sound of both bands! I've been playing for a year and a half, and hope to find a band to play with in a similar vein as y'alls' sometime soon.
Thanks for the cool links!
