How can I watch this?

Post by Joachim Kettner »

I have an old Windows XP computer and I think this is the reason that I only get a blank space instead of the moving pictures.
I'm talking about this:

Thanks for any explanation.

A lot of things won't work anymore on Windows XP.
I had to set up another computer with Windows 10. :whoa:

Thanks Erv. I think I have to get rid of the old and buy a new one.

I still use both of my computers.
I had a friend clue me in on a KVM switch.
With this switch, I can use my keyboard, monitor and mouse on both computers with just a flick of a remote switch. The switch is very inexpensive.
I also got a switch so I can use my printer on both computers.
This has worked out great. I hate to abandon my old XP computer as I'm afraid I have some programs on it that might not run on Windows 10.

Thank you, good idea if I get another one. Still I wonder if there's something that I can download to watch those vids.

I don't think so.
They just don't support Windows XP. :(

Try Firefox as your browser. They just stopped supporting Windows XP during the last month, or two. Firefox recognizes HTML 5 and CSS 3, which Internet Exploder 6 knows nothing about. IE 7 barely recognizes HTML 5, but not the current CSS positioning styles and media queries. In fact, the only version of Internet Explorer that renders modern web pages properly is IE 11, which runs on Windows 10 and is also at the end of its life cycle.

Most anti virus companies have stopped supporting XP a long time ago, so you are probably totally at risk every time you turn that XP computer on and connect it to the Interwebs.
