I decided that since I couldn't make up my mind which tuning to stick to, I would build me a double neck. I have a couple of 6 string singles, and I'm going to reshape and join them together. I have access to machinery for the woodworking, and I'll run one neck to a threeway switch and eliminate one set of controls. I'll tune one to C6 and one to open E or E7.
My question is: I see many doubles that are flat, and many that the furtherest neck is slightly raised, so I have to decide which way I'm gonna go. Flat (which is easier) or raised (involves a bit more work). Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Second question: I presume the C6 tuned neck would be closest and the E furtherest. Thoughts?
Cheers, and Merry Christmas.

I finally got one of the single stands and I am impressed with the quality. You can't go wrong with those stands!
