Can anyone throw some light on the system Bruce uses.
I assumed that D1088123 meant
A double 10, 1988 123rd guitar manufactured.
However on viewing the Zum owners pics on the Zum site I notice that my assumption of the year of manufacture is wrong.
Just a bit of curiosity.
Thanks for any info
Best regards

Billy you are close.
D1088123 would mean that the guitar is a D10 with 8 pedals and 8 knees and 123 could be the number of the steel that came off the line in the year that the steel was manufactured.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Mark and C.B.
I do not see any way of telling the year of manufacture.
Thanks

Bruce doesn't post on the forum. If you want me to, I will call him with your serial no. and then post what year on the SGF.

Billy, I just talked to Bruce, he said D1088-103 was built in 1980. He said it was a teakwood mica guitar.
