Post by Curt Langston »

I have been playing around with a Lap Dawg, and SP-2 on my Sierra Session. It feels pretty good to me. Anyone else use any of these on pedal steel?

I'm close. I use a Stevens bar on pedal steel. I'm having trouble shaking my dobro past.

I use an S.P.2,on my MSA d 10.never could hold a big round bar, bought two rajah bars with the flat sides, they were great, but the slick coating wore off very fast.

My dawg is an 80 pound pit bull and doesn't fit on my lap.

I use an SP-2 and a Pearce 10 string steel interchangeably on dobro, lap steel, Dual Pro and Gibson Console. I like the handiness and speed of the SP-2 and the sustain I get from the 10 string bar. If I could find an SP-2 design with about 3 times the mass, I would be a very happy camper.
